Hello Here is my problem. I have three documents that give the father's age that doesn't match for the year. In 1810 he is 28, in 1826 he is 38 and in 1831 he is 36. What type of documents you have ?
BTW Time range 13 years that's small problem... if you know place, then you could check documents from 1780 to 1800...

The place is Liw Poland and the name is Mateusz Pietrzyk.Unfortunately the documents that I got the age from are the birth acts of his children.The other problem is that the records that I have access to don't have the years that cover 1700-1800.
