Towns

Is there a site that can give the location of small towns of the 1700's in Poland. In particular the towns/village Parzyń and Yata. Since the document, marriage, was in Szczebrzeszynian parish I can only assume that they are in that vicinity. Could anyone help?

Jata is a small village near the towns of Rudnik nad Sanem and Nisko.
The distance between Jata and Szczebrzeszyn is approx. 88 km.
Maybe it is this village?

Jonna I just looked at the map location and to me it seem far to North to be anywhere near the Lublin Voirship. The act that I got the name of the village from was out of a website for Lublin. I am not saying that it isn't the village that I am looking for but logic dictates that it probably isn't.Thank you for you input. Best regards Richard

Jonna I have looked at the map a little harder and I must apologize to you. The village Yata that you found on the map looks to be the right one.When I looked at it yesterday it was more of a glance and I didn't realize that what was shown was just the lower portion of Poland.Please except my very sincere apology and thank you for finding the village Yata. Richard, I hope that this will be the village. The village Parzyń not found. Maybe now is the district of a major city?
I found only village Paszyn, but it is more to the south. Near Nowy Sącz

Jonnaz Udałem że wymienione i przy pomocy Google Tłumacz Poczytaj trochę o wsi. Ponieważ mój pradziadek wielkie było podłubać/stolarskie z zawodu czuję, że jest bardzo dobry możliwość, że położenie wsi jest poprawny. Best regards Richard
